We are elated to announce that we have won the 2022 VRCA - Vancouver Regional Construction Association Gold Award of Excellence in the Mechanical Contractor over 9 Million category for our work at Royal Inland Hospital!!
Back in March of this year we were awarded the 2020 VRCA Gold in the same category on a similar project – Penticton Regional Hospital. When the team was assembled for Royal Inland, it was mostly the same team that had worked together so successfully on the Penticton project.
Our team wishes to celebrate this win with those who worked so collaboratively with us – EllisDon as General Contractor, and our subtrade partners Viaduct Sheet Metal Ltd, ESC Automation, Aarcwest & Absolute Medical.
However, we dedicate this honour to our team who worked day in and day out on a challenging endeavor.
“This win is really a testament to the talent we have at Pitt Meadows Plumbing and also all of our subtrades and our General Contractor partner EllisDon. We have really great people on site every single day and we also have a top notch pre-fabrication facility and BIM team in Maple Ridge that helped us with the entire project.” Shalana Morton, Senior Project Manager
"It’s a great feeling having this new tower come together so nicely. The impact it has had on the City of Kamloops has been amazing! Looking forward to getting the same results from Phase 2 that the team is currently working on -- and making Kamloops better, one project at a time!" Kevin Monsen, Foreman
"We believe that receiving two Gold Awards of Excellence for our work at Penticton Regional Hospital (2020) and Royal Inland Hospital (2022) demonstrates that in addition to being a leading mechanical contractor, our team currently leads the industry by successfully and collaboratively designing, fabricating and installing multi-trade racks specifically for hospitals in our Province.” Steve Robinson, President
