MAPLE RIDGE, BC — September 22, 2025 — Pitt Meadows Plumbing & Mechanical Systems (PMP) is proud to announce it received two major honours at the 36th Annual Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) Awards of Excellence held Friday, September 19, 2025.
PMP earned the Gold Award of Excellence in the Mechanical Contractor Over $40 Million category for Gilmore Place Phase 1. This project is one of the most ambitious residential developments in Metro Vancouver and required accelerated delivery of a District Energy System, extensive BIM coordination, and significant prefabrication. Construction Manager Brenn Cameron accepted the award on behalf of the team.
The company also received the Outstanding Achievement Award for Innovation & Productivity for advancements at Shop XL. By embedding live data into design and fabrication, standardizing workflows, and developing custom tools, the team increased production and efficiency at scale. Phil Robinson and Sam Revel accepted the award.
