This past Saturday, November 25th, our team gathered at the Gilmore Place project in Burnaby, with the mission to climb Tower II and raise awareness for Movember.

Construction Manager Brenn Cameron led a safety talk, emphasizing the unique challenges of a construction worker's daily life. The team embarked on the climb, with Kyle leading the charge to the 68th floor in just 15 minutes, closely followed by others.

For many, this climb offered a glimpse into the demanding life of a construction worker, highlighting challenges like material handling, scheduling complexities, and the absence of quick lifts.   This event wasn’t just about the climb; it was a passionate effort to raise awareness and funds for our Movember team.

As we approach our fourth year of participation, we invite you to join us on Giving Tuesday by considering a donation to our team. Every contribution makes a difference. Our goal is to reach $10,000 in donations which we will then match as a company.

Following the climb, the group met nearby for a Movember wrap-up event with lunch! Prizes were awarded to members of the Movember team for their Mo’s, fundraising efforts and incredible movement throughout the month! So far this month, our team has either cycled, run or walked 1025 km!

"It was wonderful to see everyone supporting Movember. The PMP team spirit was incredible, showing the support we have for each other," remarked one participant.

Our team is currently working on the iconic Gilmore Place project, a multi-tower development we've proudly contributed to for years. Gilmore Tower II, recently hailed as the tallest tower in BC, stands as a testament to our dedication.
